This page includes some of the most convincing and/or famous photographs and footage taken of Bigfoot. These are not specific to the Pacific Northwest.
20 October 1967. Bluff Creek, California. Roger Patterson.
Original and Stabilized Footage
"In October 1967 two young men called Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin were in Bluff Creek in Del Norte country, northern California, when they were thrown from their horses as they rounded the bend in the Creek. About a hundred feet ahead, on the other side of the Creek bed, there was a huge, hairy creature that walked like a man. Roger Patterson grabbed his cine-camera, and started filming. The creature - which they had by now decided was a female - stopped dead, then looked around at them. 'She wasn't scared a bit. The fact is, I don't think she was scared of me, and the only thing I can think of is that the clicking of my camera was new to her'. As Patterson tried to follow her the creature suddenly began to run, and after three and a half miles they lost her tracks on pine needles."1
This film is the most convincing piece of Bigfoot evidence ever presented. Experts from around the world have found numerous details suggesting that this is a real creature. Skeptics have failed to debunk it with any proper evidence.

16 September 2007. Allegheny National Forest, Pennsylvania.
Image from a Bushnell trail camera. The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization juvenile Bigfoot. "The Pennsylvania Game Commission, however, stated that the photos were of a bear with mange", but was not able locate any such animal. "Scientist Vanessa Woods, after estimating that the subject in the photo had approximately 22 inches (560 mm) long arms and a 18.75 inches (476 mm) torso, concluded it was more comparable to a chimpanzee"2.
June 2001. Marble Mountain, California. Jim Mills.
"This Video footage of Bigfoot was taken in June, 2001 By Jim Mills the leader of the youth group 'Campus Life' on the annual Marble Mountains backpacking trip. This is the longest know video of bigfoot ever recorded. In no way was this faked or some kind of hoax"
The first part of the video shows a group of hikers discovering what they believe to be a nest or house of some kind. At about 2:20, one hiker points out a figure that he refers to as a Bigfoot. The figure is walking down the ridge; you can see it clearly against the sky. The end of the video is just of the hikers at their camp.
Many people believe the branches used to build the shelter look like they were snapped off by something incredibly strong (stronger than a human). Some also claim that the figure appears to be aggitated, perhaps because the hikers are in it's camp. "After carefully reviewing the video and the surrounding area, they estimated the size of the creature to be approximately eight feet tall, weighing nearly 700 pounds".3
We have found no reason to believe that this was purposefully falsified; it is most likely just misidentification. Our experts believe this is most likely just another hiker. The erratic arm movements are due to the person trying to navigate the uneven terrain, and the camera quality does not allow us to see any distinct Bigfoot features.
Unknown date, Unknown location, Unknown photographer.
The video seems to depict an adult Bigfoot carrying its baby through the forest.
Many firmly believe that this Bigfoot is nearly identical to the one shown in the Patterson-Gimlin Film, with the same fur color and cone-shaped head, and therefore it must be real. However, our experts believe the gait is too human-like, and the movement of the camera suggests that this was rehearsed.
October 2012. Provo Canyon, Utah. Beard Card.
The original was uploaded to Youtube by user Beard Card. The video depicts a Bigfoot squatting in some bushes, then standing up. The author states: "We went camping in Provo Canyon (near Squaw Peak and Little Rock Canyon Overlook) and saw some deer up on a hill that we wanted to get a closer look at. On our way up, we thought we saw a bear, until the monster stood up and looked right at us. We ran straight to the car after that, leaving our tent and everything behind. It's probably all still up there."
"Video analysis and CGI expert Mitch Phillips told Ringside Report he has ruled out a costume due to the muscle tone and appearance of real fur. He said the creature is not another animal, and that there was no video trickery, on top of the hikers' reactions seeming genuine. 'My conclusion: It's real,' he said. 'This is a huge piece of evidence supporting the existence of Bigfoot. I'm impressed.'"4
Our experts believe that this is definitely not a bear.
2 December 2012. Provo Canyon, Utah. Unknown photographer.
This footage was mostly overlooked due to the popularity of the original Provo Canyon Bigfoot footage, but this video was taken only two months after the first.

8 July 2000. Florida. Dave Shealy
The footage depicts a large, some-what formless figure moving/running through swamp grass. Fans of the film point out that there is no way a normal person could move that fast through swamp grass. Also, the grass only comes up to the figure’s chest, suggesting that it’s probably 7 or 8 feet tall.

January 2015. Lettuce Lake Park, Florida. Mark M.
"I was canoeing some of the swamps around Lettuce Lake Park and saw what I thought was a bear. I told a park ranger about it and she said that bears don’t generally get into the swamp and that there were never many sightings in general. I showed her the video and she said she didn’t know what it was. I saw the Fox13 story about the bigfoot a few weeks ago that mayor said Bob Buckhorn made a statement about and thought this might be related in some way. I never put much faith in the old skunk ape legends but when I looked closer I noticed that it had long, swinging arms and moved through very thick swamp with ease. Certainly can’t explain it myself. I didn’t get very close but I hope that this footage can be enlarged. -Matt"
The figure's gait and movement suggest great strength, as well as

24 October 2013. Tunica, Mississippi. Josh Highcliff.
"I was out hunting hogs, just sitting in a part of the swamp i have heard em before...it is not too far from a road. I was wearing hunting camo and just sitting dead still waiting for it to get dark, cause thats when the hogs come out. I hear a noise behind the tree i was sitting on, i thought it was the hogs, when i got around i could not believe my own two eyes. There was this huge black thing crouched by a dead cypress about 50 yards away, i thought it was a hog but saw these big shoulders and a head upright with hands. It looked like it was digging out the stump. My first instinct was to run, i did not even think of shooting...then i know no one will believe me...it was like everything slowed down...i was scared! I took out my iphone and started videotaping it..i guess i pushed the record button twice cause it stopped blinking red.. but i pushed it again. I hear a truck driving down the road and the thing stood up!! I was trying to be dead quiet...when it stood up i could not control myself and ran. That stump was huge and i'd guess the sucker was 7feet tall, i am a hunter and am pretty darn good at guessing size. that's no bear! I don't know what to think.. if someone can tell me what it is or if somone was trying to prank me i, I don't want to go back on my land. this is the first movie i have ever put on youtube..the video looks better on my phone and computer. I always heard stories of skunk ape and honey island swamp monster from these parts but never thought about it being real ever. has anyone seen anything like this in mississippi?"
