To acquaint you with how we make our database, we've opted for a hands on approach. You will collect and organise information on a cryptid. When you are done, another admin will code it into the website!

1. Choose from the list of cryptids below (or pick your own!)
2. Find any and all information you can on the cryptid, making sure to record all of the resources you used. This process may take a number of hours, take as much time as you need.
3. Sort your information into the following categories: (Region, Identification, Top Locations, History, Proposed Explanations, Known Hoaxes, Evidence For/Against, Selected Reports, Images, and Footage).
4. Send all your information and links to your resources to your advisor.

Potential Cryptids: Agropelter, Wampus Cat, Central American Whintosser, Tripodero, Dingmaul, Side Hill Gougar, Splinter Cat, Snipe, Devil's Lake Monster, Wallowa Lake Monster, Colossal Claude, Black-Eyed Children, Amhuluk, Giant Saltwater Crustaceans.

Don't be afraid to reference our database for how to format the information. Please be as thorough as possible (but we understand if some information is missing, we are talking about the unknown). If you have any questions at all, please reach out to your advisor!
