congratulations on finishing basic training!!
since you have passed your tests, i can finally tell you what this is all about!! im sure you already have a pretty good idea of why you're here. we are a small but committed secret organization dedicated to investigating all abnormal, unsolved, and "unexplainable" phenomena in the pacific northwest. we call ourselves
the Local Investigators of Cryptic Evidence, or LICE.
we're... still working on the name... you have been recruited to help us collect data! you're position is assistant field investigator, and you will soon be sent out to,, well,, investigate in the field! since you are a new recruit these missions will start small. but dont worry, soon you will be given much bigger fish to fry. more on that later.
- also! now you can access a large portion of our files and evidence! each major subject we investigate has it's own page in our catalogs, where all collected evidence is listed. please explore our archives at your own pace! we've tried to create a comprehensive masterlist of everything we know about local hauntings, cryptids, and other phenomena. if you find more evidence during your time here, it will be added straight into our archives to be evaluated. however, we are still recovering from a tragic incident where we lost much of our database. my apologies if our information seems sparse.
- you will also be added to our email list. you will receive (semi-regular) newsletters via email to keep our top stories fresh in your mind and make sure you're updated on all our news. they also include a fun pop quiz at the end!
- and just a quick tip, i would recommend bookmarking or writing down the URL "pattersonfootage.neocities.org/home#" (but put your agent number in instead of "#") as it will be your homepage for all your information and frequently used sources/links. If you'd like anything to be added or removed from your homepage, or for it to be arranged differently, please shoot me an email and I can change it!
while you wait for your next assignment or training module, i highly encourage you to familiarize yourself with our database. we've worked hard to create an in-depth yet managable file on each of our top investigations. also make sure to read your newsletters, answer the pop quiz questions, and stay on the look out for assignments!
good luck and happy researching! we will be in contact soon.
